For the Altruist… Making the Academy More Accessible to Everyone!
You can help the Academy offer free general admission to members of our community! Here’s how:
The Academy, through environmental research and learning programs, is committed to informing and building a movement of environmentally engaged communities for a healthy, sustainable and equitable planet. As part of our commitment, the Academy is expanding our Museum Pass membership program to area community centers beginning January 1, 2021. Community members can borrow a museum pass from neighborhood organizations to receive free general admission to the Academy for two adults and up to five children. The expanded Museum Pass program will increase access for communities who might not otherwise experience the museum.
But we need your help. The Academy would like to offer these Museum Passes to our community partners for free to help ease the financial burdens on community centers due to the impacts of COVID.
