Frogs are coming out of hibernation and so are we!
Frogs are found on nearly every environment on Earth, and they have strange, shocking, and interesting survival strategies. Hop on over to our pad Monday through Friday, April 10 to 14, to learn more about these creatures. Celebrate all things amphibian with special crafts, daily story times, and exciting education stations.
Visit the awesome exhibit Frogs: A Chorus of Colors, where living frogs from around the world offer a glimpse of the vast palette of frog diversity. When you buy your ticket to Frogs, you’ll automatically get admission to a keeper talk daily at 11:45 a.m.
Check out live frogs of many hues, listen to their colorful chorus, and admire the many ways they swim, hop, glide, and soar. Hop into a frog’s world as you inspect frog habitats complete with rock ledges, live plants and waterfalls. See live frogs in action, search for hidden frogs, create a nighttime frog chorus, spin a zoetrope to see how a frog jumps, and conduct a virtual frog dissection.
In addition to seeing our special exhibit, you can meet frog experts and learn more about the wonderful world of frogs and toads. Even more activities come free with your general admission ticket to the museum.
Three times daily (11 and 11:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.), you can catch live animal presentations in our auditorium. You can join the famous Marty the Moose for Froggy Story Time, test your knowledge at a Freaky Frogs Education Station, and make a cool frog craft. Join our educators in Outside In on the third level for a frog scavenger hunt.
